How can a company hire an accountant on ibookkeeper?

Register your business with a GSTIN or, if you are not GST-registered, a Udyam (MSME) certificate, verify your official email, complete verification, post jobs and unlock resumes of verified accountants with an employer plan.

Why can't I see phone numbers or emails before paying?

Contact details are masked for everyone until a paid plan unlocks them. This protects candidates from spam and keeps employers from receiving unverified applications.

Does ibookkeeper charge candidates for getting a job?

No. Candidates pay only for an application plan. Employers on ibookkeeper may never ask candidates for any fee, deposit or training charge.

What happens to unused credits?

Credits are valid for the plan's time band. Unused credits expire at the end of it. Buying a new plan before expiry carries remaining credits forward to the new expiry date.

How do you verify that an employer is genuine?

We check GSTIN status and match the PAN inside it. Businesses without GST register with their Udyam (MSME) certificate, which we check on the MSME portal. We verify the email and mobile by one-time code, block duplicate GSTIN, Udyam, PAN, email and mobile registrations, review the incorporation or firm registration document and confirm the authorised person's identity. Only then can the company post jobs or unlock resumes.

Is ibookkeeper responsible if an employer or candidate turns out to be fraudulent?

No. ibookkeeper is only a platform that connects job seekers and employers. We verify accounts to reduce risk, suspend anyone reported for misuse and refund credits spent on a proven fake employer, but we are not a party to any job, payment or agreement between users and are not responsible for any fraud, loss or damage.
